Position Overview
MileOne is hiring a Regional Marketing Assistant for our internal Marketing team. This onsite role at our corporate office in Towson, MD is integral to our luxury division. You will support the execution of monthly campaigns, manage website maintenance, oversee creative workflow, and contribute strategically to each dealership’s success. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day development and execution of marketing tactics based on approved plans and direction from the Manager.
- Create and open marketing jobs working with the Regional Marketing Manager and Senior Regional Marketing Coordinator; track and guide creative jobs through marketing channels.
- Proof reports, advertisements, collateral materials, and digital communications for design, accuracy, and compliance.
- Compile reports and data for special projects and field requests.
- Manage websites and social media posting, maintenance, and compliance.
- Attend strategy and planning meetings with marketing leadership and creative staff.
- Collaborate with internal team members to communicate dealership objectives and develop strategic solutions.
- Check invoices against estimates, reconcile with the budget, and create cover sheets.
- Coordinate assigned donations and sponsorships with proper documentation and tracking.
- Gather, track, and analyze competitive intelligence related to creative, media, and promotions.
- Assist in the preparation and communication of campaign proposals.
- Acquire knowledge of the automotive dealership business.
- Attend meetings with marketing and field teams and prepare meeting recaps.
- Act as backup for the Regional Marketing Manager and Senior Regional Marketing Coordinator when needed.
- Ensure timely manufacturer compliance submission and campaign approval.
- Organize daily responses to consumer reviews.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS required. Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business or a related degree is preferred.
- Advertising or retail-based marketing internship experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong creative instincts with the ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
- Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team spirit.
- Understanding of core marketing strategies, tactics, and creative principles.
- Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional proofreading skills with accuracy and timeliness in task execution.
- Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
