Position Overview

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time intensivist to join the critical care team at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida – a premiere tertiary care academic health system and 1,000+ bed Level 1 trauma center. TGH is affiliated with the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and hosts an accredited anesthesiology residency training program. With a structured onboarding process and numerous academic conferences, journal clubs, POCUS lectures, and weekly Grand Rounds, this role supports robust clinical, academic, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Competitive compensation plus generous commitment bonus
• Serve in the following ICU settings: C-ICU, burn and wound management units, chest and thoracic units, and vascular and interventional surgery units
• Operate on a 15 shift/month schedule; typically one week on followed by one week off – no call and truly off weeks
• Involve in teaching residents and become eligible for faculty appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the USF Morsani College of Medicine
