Job Description

Position Overview

PowerPay is a financial technology company operating in several vertical markets including home improvement, healthcare, recreational vehicles and more. We are building a national network of partners to offer our financing solutions and originate as well as service all loans. Our growing team is looking for a motivated and energetic Junior Sales Representative to generate new business and build strong relationships with home improvement contractors. This role is open to candidates from major metro areas (primarily Texas, Nevada/Colorado, Florida, Virginia, Southern California or surrounding areas).

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads through various channels (cold calling, email campaigns, referrals, networking, etc.).
  • Educate contractors on the benefits of offering financing to their clients and how it can help grow their business.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demos to explain the features and advantages of our financing solutions.
  • Close deals and meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with contractors to foster repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer service, onboarding) to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Provide ongoing support to contractors and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Track and report on sales activity and performance using CRM tools.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to effectively position our products.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related fields (motivated candidates with relevant experience may also be considered).
  • Entry-level to 2 years of sales experience, preferably in fintech, SaaS, home improvement, or a related industry.
  • Experience through internships or part-time roles in sales, customer service, or marketing is a plus.
  • Preferably, experience in home improvement, financial services, or other B2B-focused roles.
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale financing, lending, or similar financial products is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively with prospective clients.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Requires 70% Travel
