Position Overview
The San Jose Earthquakes have a mission to establish their home as the epicenter of American soccer by uniting Northern California with big dreams, big hustle, and big impact. We are seeking an ambitious Senior Account Executive, Season Tickets who is resilient and a motivated self-starter. In this role, you will provide first-class customer service, build strong community relationships, and generate season and group ticket revenue through outbound calls, meetings, and event coordination. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Season Tickets, you will work in a dynamic and competitive environment while representing the San Jose Earthquakes at various community events.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate season and group ticket revenue via outbound calls, emails, in-office meetings, virtual meetings, and stadium tours.
- Participate in ongoing training activities with management and colleagues.
- Assist with hiring and training Quakes University classes.
- Execute and plan various events in coordination with the Sr. Manager, Season Tickets.
- Lead the Season Tickets team in prospecting new business and cross-selling initiatives.
- Represent and promote the San Jose Earthquakes in a fun and professional manner at community events, viewing parties, player meet and greets, sports tournaments, festivals, and more.
- Build relationships with key communities within San Jose, including but not limited to Mexican, Portuguese, Vietnamese communities, and college students.
Required Qualifications
- Qualifications: Required Bachelor’s degree with academic success
- One or more years of sales experience, preferably in professional sports.
- Self-motivated and self-starter mindset.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Required and able to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekends.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Passion for and knowledge of MLS and the San Jose Earthquakes.
- Hustle – having the desire to authentically connect with people, consistently show up for fans, and take pride in one’s work.

Preferred Qualifications
