This role develops and executes overall Search Engine Optimization (SEO/GEO) strategies for our company websites. You will collaborate across teams to drive strategy and business plans for lead generation, perform analytics, and execute optimization efforts to maximize returns. You will also oversee strategic content generation, deployment, and syndication in support of department goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop overall Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies for various company websites; collaborate with teams and managers to drive SEO strategy and business plans for lead generation.
- Develop, manage, execute, and analyze overall Content Strategies for company websites to support business objectives.
- Execute SEO tactics including evaluation of keywords, content and metadata, campaign performance tracking, and link building to support online lead generation.
- Implement On-Page and Off-Page SEO strategies to increase company presence in major search engines.
- Oversee and implement localization efforts to boost regional search presence.
- Develop and implement mobile search strategies to enhance the mobile web presence.
- Partner with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) testing strategies to improve user experience, site navigation, and conversion of website traffic.
- Monitor usage and effectiveness of website features using web metrics and analytics to provide recommendations to business units.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on organic search metrics, goal tracking, revenue, and other lead generation activities to ensure ROI.
- Administer web analytics dashboards and tools to identify key areas for web optimization strategy.
- Support online marketing initiatives to ensure effective product promotions and placements.
- Collaborate with web designers and writers to optimize websites through design, content, structure, and architecture recommendations.
- Stay current with industry-wide search engine and optimization trends by collaborating with partners, attending webinars/events, and conducting research.
- Evaluate and leverage new features of third-party SEO tools to support lead generation.
- Validate data accuracy and resolve data integrity issues between third-party applications and internal systems to ensure accurate lead generation data.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the position’s overall function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Statistics, English, Communications, Public Relations or a related field (preferred).
- Experience using a variety of SEO analytics tools—including Google Analytics, Yahoo/Bing Webmaster, SEOmoz, SEO Clarity, Opimizely, Tableau, SEMrush, Skyward, and Divvy HQ—in a B2B environment, along with Content Management Systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Content Strategy for moderate to large scale web properties, with proven analytical skills.
- Proficiency in WordPress and mastery of industry-standard SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog, among others.
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, the starting base pay range for this position is $68,740 - $108,020 annually. Please note that this range represents the base pay only and does not include other components of the total rewards package. Overall compensation will be determined based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
