Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Supply Chain will drive Commercial Supply Chain strategic planning and supplier oversight, ensuring uninterrupted product availability in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role involves designing, implementing, and utilizing systems and processes including planning software, ERP, visualization, reporting, master data, and data analytics to support both commercial and clinical product commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee supply management including planning, sourcing, logistics and supplier relations for commercial and late-stage clinical products.
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, incorporating market trends, promotional activities, and regulatory factors.
- Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and finance teams to integrate new product launches and lifecycle management into forecasts.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and implement continuous improvement initiatives using advanced analytics.
- Design and execute supply plans aligned with production capacity and inventory targets.
- Identify and mitigate supply risks including capacity constraints, supplier compliance issues, and regulatory delays.
- Manage supplier relationships including contract manufacturing under approved supply agreements.
- Oversee financial commitments and legal contracts in line with the company’s delegation of authority.
- Lead and support cross-functional teams and global initiatives related to supply chain systems and processes.
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning process and contribute actively in Supply Chain Governance forums.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and budgetary guidelines throughout supply operations.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field required.
- Experience Required: Minimum 8–12 years (without a Master’s) or 6–8 years (with a Master’s) of relevant supply chain planning/management experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, including at least 3–5 years with ERP systems, forecasting tools, and advanced Excel proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant experience in supply chain and distribution management in FDA-regulated environments.
- Proven track record in strategic global supply chain and supplier relationship management.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with global partners and internal teams.
- Strong negotiation, financial acumen, and budgeting skills.
- Proficiency in ERP software with end-to-end planning, purchasing, and inventory management expertise.
- Deep understanding of GMP manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
- Data-driven decision-making with a focus on process improvement and technical solution implementation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong organizational awareness.

- Salary: $144,960 to $181,200 per year
