Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS/KS1 Teacher to support schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas. At Heart of Supply, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, underpinned by a secure understanding of the EYFS Framework and/or Key Stage 1 curriculum, including systematic phonics, early reading and maths progression. Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire. Salary: £32,916 - £45,351 per annum. This role is available on a flexible temporary basis (day-to-day, short-term, and long-term) with a start date of ASAP/April 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Utilise a secure knowledge of the EYFS Framework and/or Key Stage 1 curriculum, including systematic phonics and early numeracy and reading progression.
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment with effective positive behaviour management.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school by collaborating with colleagues and engaging with parents.

Required Qualifications

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Recent experience teaching within EYFS/Key Stage 1 in a UK school.
  • Confidence in delivering early years phonics, reading, and numeracy in line with the national curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management with a nurturing and encouraging approach.
  • Ability to adapt lessons for a range of learning styles and developmental stages.
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable manner.
