Job Description

Position Overview

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Customer Strategy, Technology, and Marketing Operations, the Director, Marketing Technology and Operations is a strategic leader responsible for managing the marketing technology platform and operational processes to drive Interval International’s business growth. Working closely with Information Technology, the MVW Digital Products COE team and Marketing Activation, the role will spearhead the development of new operating models and process optimizations that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across global marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing technology platforms, digital systems, and asset management processes—including technology requirement determination, tool evaluations, automation, and optimization initiatives.
  • Drive the adoption of new techniques and emerging technologies to position Interval International as an innovation leader and implement test-and-learn plans across marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee external agency/vendor relationships and collaborate with internal teams such as MVW’s Brand and Digital Centers of Expertise to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze campaign data, and translate insights into actionable marketing strategy recommendations.
  • Develop and manage streamlined workflows, processes, and operating plans to increase speed to market and enhance overall functional effectiveness.
  • Plan resource requirements and orchestrate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, timely execution, and efficient resolution of business challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in marketing technology and operations, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proficient in developing and executing operational plans, managing cross-functional teams, and driving data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in decision-making, conflict resolution, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.
  • High computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, Hospitality, or a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Familiarity with industry tools such as Qualtrics, Business Objects (or similar), Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Campaign.
  • A strategic mindset with an ability to proactively influence senior leaders and drive positive business results.
