Job Description

Position Overview

Join our team as a Virtual Cyber Security SDR, BDR, Contract to Hire where you will be an integral part of an innovative cybersecurity company. Our Client is a leading provider of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions protecting businesses from evolving digital threats. As one of the first 20 employees and operating 100% virtually (with travel throughout the US), you will help shape the direction of the company, drive growth, and contribute directly to our success – including a recent seed round of $11M at a $36M valuation.

Location: United States (Virtual with Travel Throughout the US)

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate high volume quality MQLs through calls, emails, events, webinars, and other channels generated by Marketing.
  • Make daily outbound calls/emails to prospects who have demonstrated interest.
  • Follow up on all communications until meetings are booked or the prospect advances in the sales funnel.
  • Record all activities and manage lead stages in our Salesforce CRM accurately.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly quotas of meetings, demos, and qualified leads in collaboration with Account Executives (AEs).
  • Schedule product demos on AEs' calendars and discern buyer intent to ensure proper onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to optimize segmentation, content, and features based on top-of-funnel feedback.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven BDR/SDR experience in the SaaS or a similar software space.
  • Excellent communication skills with a clear, engaging phone presence and professional Zoom demeanor.
  • Hands-on experience with various sales prospecting techniques including cold calling, cold emailing, video conference selling, and social outreach.
  • Familiarity with sales & marketing constructs, the evergreen funnel, and established playbooks.
  • Exceptional listening skills with an ability to address objections and clearly outline next steps.
  • Strong writing skills with impeccable grammar and the ability to craft compelling communication that advances prospects down the funnel.
  • Demonstrated track record of success and goal attainment in a frontline, sales-oriented role.
  • Deep familiarity with various software and social networks, particularly LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • A self-motivated drive, passion, and desire to deliver results; experience in a fast-growing startup environment is a plus.
