AutoZone’s store teams are on the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, ensuring that customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will provide expert advice, help maintain a well-stocked inventory, and support smooth store operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
  • Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
  • Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
  • Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper procedures to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Complete tasks efficiently using structured processes and adhere to company safety policies with proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
  • Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend effective solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
  • Physical Requirements – Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • Flexible Schedule – Availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive Knowledge – Basic understanding of automotive parts is preferred.
  • Exceptional Communication – Strong people skills with effective communication in both Spanish and English.
  • Automotive Retail Experience – Previous experience in automotive retail is an asset.
  • Certifications – Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification is a plus.
