Position Overview

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
Experience Required: 2-4 years of professional support experience

Baltimore Consulting (BC) is hiring for multiple positions on our Service Desk team. We are a Managed Services Provider supporting multiple clients across various technical environments. You may be involved in tasks ranging from responding to support requests via phone, tickets, and email to participating in various client projects. This is an ideal position for anyone looking to expand their skills as you will gain exposure to a vast array of technologies, predominantly in a Microsoft/Windows environment while also supporting Apple devices. Although we are a remote-first organization regarding our clients, this is a hybrid position. You will spend time in our office as well as have the option to work remotely. When required to go onsite, client locations are generally in the Baltimore Metro area, and mileage reimbursement is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responding to support requests via phone, tickets, and email and troubleshooting end-user issues remotely and on-site (as needed)
  • Rotating after-hours on call schedule
  • Occasional project work during non-business hours (with advanced notice)

Required Qualifications

  • Qualifications: User Support – new user setup, terminations, Office 365/AD user-related setup and changes
  • Qualifications: Workstation Support – deployments, software/hardware installs, general troubleshooting
  • Qualifications: Networking – Wi-Fi management, user-based VPN setup and support, and general firewall troubleshooting
  • Qualifications: Servers – general support such as printer/share drive setup and changes, group policy, and some DNS management
  • Qualifications: Office 365/Microsoft Azure – troubleshooting and general management of Azure AD, licensing, SaaS backup, Teams management, mailbox and group management, and troubleshooting
  • Qualifications: PowerShell – running existing scripts with the opportunity to develop new ones
