As the Lead Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our overall cyber security strategy, as well as leading and mentoring a team of talented cyber security professionals. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems.
To excel in this role, you must possess a strong technical background in cyber security, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security. Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are also highly preferred.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization's cyber security strategy.
- Lead and mentor a team of cyber security professionals.
- Monitor and assess potential cyber threats to the organization.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security threats, trends, and technologies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Communicate security policies and procedures to employees and provide training as needed.
- Work with third-party vendors to ensure the security of their systems and services.
- Manage and maintain security tools and systems.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Communicate with senior management and provide regular updates on the organization's cyber security posture.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and maintain incident response plans.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential security risks and recommend solutions.
- Serve as a point of contact for all cyber security related issues.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's cyber security posture.
