Position Overview
Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, MGM Resorts International – where THE SHOW comes alive – is looking for an experienced Hotel Operations Manager. In this role, you’ll partner with the Resort Operations Manager to lead and inspire the Front Desk & Guest Services team, ensuring seamless operations and an exceptional guest experience that highlights the world-class standards of MGM Resorts. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Hotel Operations Manager to implement strategic initiatives for hotel operations.
- Assist in leading the implementation of policies, operating procedures, training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, and rules for the front desk operations team.
- Drive employee engagement through coaching, training, rewards, and ongoing development.
- Provide leadership to uphold and enhance the guest experience in line with company service standards.
- Participate in interviews, candidate selection, training, supervision, counseling, and coaching to ensure efficient department operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in directing and managing teams in a hotel environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement
- Technical knowledge and experience with LMS
