Position Overview

In this role, you will provide essential customer assistance by processing orders for blood, plasma derivatives, and transfusion-related products while maintaining hospital inventory within regulatory compliance. This full‐time, remote position operates on a day shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Central time (with weekend and holiday availability) and requires flexibility during the initial 4–6 weeks of training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive routine orders for blood, pharmaceutical products, and transfusion-related supplies; ensure accurate order entry, fulfillment, and follow-up communication if needs are not met.
  • Utilize data, tools, and computer programs to manage product information and rotate inventories across primary and remote facilities.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by proactively communicating with hospital clients and maintaining professional internal and external communications.
  • Investigate and resolve hospital shipment issues while documenting and following up on customer concerns.
  • Assist hospital personnel by offering inventory alternatives in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; experience in blood or pharmaceutical inventory management, hospital customer relations, or logistics is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with outstanding interpersonal abilities at all levels.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with working knowledge of computers.
  • Willingness to work on some holidays and adhere to a flexible schedule during the initial training period.
  • Some business travel may be required.
