Position Overview

The Surgery Coordinator (Hybrid) at Redirect Health advocates for members by coordinating surgical care, managing costs, and ensuring high-quality outcomes at fair, negotiated rates. In this role you will support members through the entire surgical process while upholding our mission to make healthcare affordable – including FREE Healthcare for You and Your Entire Family with $0 premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical care from intake through completion, ensuring effective timelines and communication.
• Advocate for Redirect Health members during surgical procedures and negotiate fair, equitable rates with providers.
• Collaborate with internal providers, hospitals, surgical facilities, anesthesiologists, and external offices.
• Support members with compassionate, solution-driven guidance during high-stress healthcare moments.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in cost management, care coordination, and overall member satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare administrative support or case management
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
• Strong ownership, follow-through, and problem-solving skills in complex care scenarios

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical billing background
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and an EMR system
