VP, Marketing and Communications, Office of the CEO (Investment Bank)

Position Overview

Our client is a leading, independent investment bank based in New York, specialized in advising on M&A, capital advisory, and restructurings across various industries. As part of the CEO’s strategic plans for the new year, they are seeking a VP-level business development and project management professional to support the CEO in enhancing his networking and visibility efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with an external PR agency to execute the CEO's strategy for meetings, events, and participation in industry organizations to generate business leads.
• Assist the CEO with follow-up strategies related to communications, coordinating follow-up meetings and future events.
• Track all activities and engagements in a CRM system.
• Secondarily support senior bankers in their marketing and communications activities.

Required Qualifications

• Ideally 5-7 years of experience working closely with executive leadership in a marketing/communications capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA preferred
• Previous experience in investment banking, investment management, or fintech is preferred.
