Digital Project Manager

Position Overview

Nitro Digital, a global digital marketing and development agency with headquarters in London, is seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to join their New York City office. In this role, you will work on accounts across the US, Canada, and Mexico, collaborating in person with clients, managing a nearshore team of developers and designers, and working closely with an Account Director. You will play a key role in driving project processes with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a dynamic, fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and confirm requirements from the client at the project initiation stage.
• Translate client requirements into a detailed scope of work.
• Assist in project kick-off meetings and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality work across all teams.
• Manage project budgets and review internal reports from the project management system.
• Maintain ongoing client communication via status reports, contact reports, and detailed emails.
• Ensure proper allocation of resources and provide technical advice to Account Managers and clients.
• Collaborate with the Creative team by delivering detailed briefs and participating in creative reviews with an eye for UX design.
• Oversee that all work delivered meets the highest quality before sharing with the Account Director or client.
• Travel occasionally to client offices and internationally for team meetings as required.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 3-4 years of demonstrable project management experience.
• Solid understanding of web technologies.
• Strong familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies with successful Agile project deliveries.
• Commitment to quality with excellent communication skills for effective client and senior-level interactions.
• Exceptional writing skills, preferably with a communications background.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with PHP, Java, JavaScript, Drupal, WordPress, JQuery, iOS, or Android is an advantage.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required.
