Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities: Expand sales of Ethicon US, LLC products and convert competitive products in compliance with company policies.
  • Support your aligned Area/Region in all sales-related activities, and upon successful completion, become eligible to compete for the Account Executive role.
  • Receive training to understand and demonstrate the proper use of products to healthcare providers in an operating room setting.
  • Execute the selling cycle in a concise, professional, and ethical manner that motivates customer action.
  • Demonstrate proper preparation and surgical use of Ethicon products and manage customer inquiries and objections effectively.
  • Conduct sales presentations using current selling methodologies and provide case coverage to assist surgeons in the operating room.
  • Comply with standards for safe behavior, product knowledge, and all applicable company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • 0 - 2 years of business experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary (including potential overnight or weekend trips) and/or relocate as needed
  • Valid Driver’s License issued in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Established business planning and forecasting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business is preferred
  • Experience selling in new or evolving sales channels
  • Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Excellence in process management and organizational agility
  • Documented record of successful sales performance
  • Ability to work effectively in an operating room setting

Benefits & Perks

  • Salary: $55,000-$86,000
  • Compensation: Eligible for an annual performance bonus based on individual and corporate performance in accordance with the applicable plan.
  • Benefits: Access to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident and group legal insurance, as well as retirement (pension), savings plan (401(k)), long-term incentive program, and generous time off (up to 120 hours vacation, 40 hours sick time, and 13 days holiday pay annually).
