Job Description

Position Overview

This marketing professional is responsible for leading the development and implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns and programs for Humana’s Care Delivery Organization supporting Partners in Primary Care. Solid marketing technical mastery, strategic thinking, initiative and follow‐through, effective collaboration and strong project management capabilities are critical. The position requires managing multiple projects from concept to completion, driving strategy and execution, and collaborating with senior leaders and cross‐functional teams. The associate will report to the Associate Vice President of Marketing within the Care Delivery Organization and work closely with Regional Presidents and Sales Leaders, providing trusted counsel on content strategy and marketing direction, target audience development, and brand positioning to grow, retain, and engage the patient base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving the activation of the Partners in Primary Care value story in support of patient acquisition and retention.
  • Conceptualizing, leading and managing cross-functional teams in the development of marketing plans based on business partner objectives.
  • Contributing to the development of patient and agent marketing strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities and managing cross-functional teams to develop analytics that inform marketing plans and strategies; using insights to craft tailored marketing approaches.
  • Collaborating with executives to identify business needs and develop solutions that deliver measurable impacts.
  • Leading the development of annual marketing plans aligned with corporate and business objectives.
  • Influencing internal and external partners to activate marketing strategies that enhance Partners in Primary Care awareness and build trust among patients and agents.
  • Working with Care Delivery Organization marketing leadership to streamline disparate marketing requests and drive process efficiencies.
  • Providing direct oversight to emerging markets and supervising marketing efforts in key markets with up to three direct reports.
  • Serving as a key leader to shape team culture and elevate the strategic approach to business challenges.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication or a similar field.
  • 7 years of experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, and/or product/content marketing.
  • Outstanding, demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong skills in measuring marketing campaigns and deriving insights from data.
  • Excellent strategic and consulting skills.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing a diverse set of projects.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • An action-oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills, initiative, and follow‐through; flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience with activating field-based marketing activities such as conferences or events.
  • Proven ability in building compelling PowerPoint presentations for executive leadership.
  • Prior marketing experience with a Fortune 500 company.
