Sports Medicine Associate Sales Representative (Phoenix, AZ)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Associate Sales Representative in Sports Medicine based in Phoenix, AZ. At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. In this role, you will serve as a product consultant specializing in soft tissue injury repair and degenerative conditions of the shoulder, knee, hip, and small joints. Working within hospital accounts and collaborating closely with your sales team, you will provide clinical case coverage, secure required inventory, advise surgical teams on Smith+Nephew instrumentation and implants, and manage logistical needs. Travel within your territory is required (2–4 overnights per month) with occasional national travel for events and conferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical case coverage in the operating room.
• Secure and manage inventory for surgical cases.
• Consult with surgical teams on Smith+Nephew instrumentation and implants.
• Collaborate with sales representatives, orthopedic surgeons, and hospital staff.
• Complete logistical requirements related to surgical cases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of sales experience in the medical device industry.
• Proven track record selling or converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the healthcare industry, specifically selling orthopedic products.
• Experience leading or mentoring team members and new sales representatives.
