Job Description
Position Overview
Cox Communications is seeking a Hospitality Network Fulfillment Manager. You will provide leadership and strategic direction for development, delivery, installation and maintenance of current and future technologies addressing internal and external business needs related to telecommunications network engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of engineers, providing network design, implementation, and operational support of nationwide network systems, focused on voice, video, and data.
- Develop, direct, and report on all activities associated with the health, performance, and reliability of network components and services, including capacity planning, availability trending, and network performance.
- Define appropriate technology standards within the company's architecture.
- Manage multiple complex projects to increase engineering efficiency and align operations with business objectives.
- Reduce complexity by introducing enterprise-class technologies and processes, and lower overhead by holistic investment in systems and people.
- Research and provide strategic direction on the use of new products and technologies, while understanding emerging technologies for appropriate business application.
- Establish proactive monitoring and quick resolution procedures for network components, including after-hours support.
- Collaborate with other managers to analyze functional operational needs and determine project scopes and acquisitions.
- Recommend and develop plans for systems development and operations, including hardware purchases, budgeting, and staffing.
- Develop and manage the network engineering budget.
- Design cost-effective proposals and solutions ensuring network reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with network hardware vendors and assist senior management in negotiating contracts and SLAs.
- Partner with Engineering Leadership to develop critical operational initiatives and execute strategic improvements.
- Oversee key agile scaling initiatives and drive hiring efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition for both full-time and contractor roles.
- Manage internal communications strategy and foster a data-driven culture regarding engineering productivity and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field; or an equivalent combination such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience, a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience, or 10 years' experience.
- Strong knowledge of technology industry trends, emerging technologies, and networking best practices.
- Comprehensive and expert knowledge of networking.
- Experience managing large-scale programs.
- Excellent soft skills (e.g., interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaboration) to work effectively with teams across the organization.
- At least 2 years of experience in a management role preferred.
- 3-5 years' direct experience managing network teams.

Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: Base salary of USD 108,800.00 - 181,400.00 per year. The base salary may vary based on location and the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including an incentive program.
