Architect/Architectural Designer

Position Overview

Wildman Chalmers Design is a growing, highly collaborative studio seeking a creative, detail-oriented architect or architectural designer with at least 3 years of professional experience. Located in Pittsburgh (with free parking), our non-corporate, flexible studio environment emphasizes thoughtful design—from conceptual development through construction administration—for renovation and new construction projects in residential, commercial, hospitality, and various other sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings for client presentations and construction documents.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Participate in existing conditions surveys and preparation of architectural base plans.
• Conduct material and product research.
• Prepare addenda, clarification sketches, submittal reviews and attend jobsite meetings during construction administration.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of professional experience.
• Collaborative, resourceful, disciplined and quick-learning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit; Adobe Creative Suite is a strong plus.
• Must live in Pittsburgh or be willing to relocate, as this is primarily an in-office position.
