Position Overview

Miller Consulting Engineers (MCE) is a well-established structural engineering firm seeking a Structural Designer to join our growing team located in SW Portland, OR. In this role, you will gain design experience across timber, steel, masonry, concrete, and composites while contributing to a collaborative team that ranges from recent graduates to seasoned engineers. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required
• Ability to generate creative solutions to complex projects
• Balances team and individual responsibilities
• Contributes to a positive team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred to have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and possess an Engineer in Training certificate
• Preferred to have a personal vehicle and the minimum required Oregon insurance for site visits
