Senior Sales Account Executive (Freight Forwarding) - Full-time

Position Overview

Join one of the top freight forwarders in the transportation industry, serving over 50,000 customers globally. As a Senior Sales Account Executive (Freight Forwarding) handling International Sales Air/Ocean, you will drive new business development and execute full sales lifecycle processes as a trusted logistics consultant. Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 annual base salary + uncapped sales commission (base salary depends on industry and sales experience). Visa/sponsorship is not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Seek out new clients and build a book of business through prospecting and networking (cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, in-person presentations).
• Present service offerings including Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
• Meet monthly revenue quotas set by Sales Management.
• Collaborate with CRM Specialists to strengthen local market presence.
• Maintain communication with internal teams and overseas offices.
• Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit, team player, and problem solver.
• High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills.
• Professional email and phone etiquette.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience selling ocean and/or air services.
• Previous experience using the CargoWise One ERP system.
• Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred).
