Job Description

Position Overview

Monument Health is seeking passionate and professional Registered Nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, patient‐focused environment. In this role, you will be an essential team member providing compassionate care, utilizing sound clinical judgment and the ANA Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in alignment with institutional policies and professional standards. Compensation: Starting Pay Rate Range is $31.20 - $39.00 (determined by the applicant's knowledge, skills, and experience).

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply the ANA Nursing Process to collect comprehensive health data, analyze assessments, set expected outcomes, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
  • Coordinate care delivery and provide health teaching and promotion to ensure a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, families, and support systems to advocate for quality care.
  • Adhere to the ANA Standards of Professional Performance and institutional guidelines to enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
  • Utilize applicable technology and software for documenting nursing activities and accessing work-related applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA) required within 60 days of hire and a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for South Dakota.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role including handling heavy loads and working designated shifts, which may include nights or irregular hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
