To accelerate our growth in the United States and Germany, we are seeking a motivated SEO Manager (US/DE Markets) to strengthen our organic presence, support customer acquisition, and increase brand visibility. Key Responsibilities
- Execute localized SEO strategies for the US and German markets in alignment with Canyon’s global SEO goals.
- Develop and manage localized content strategies from briefing to publication.
- Guide freelance copywriters to ensure quality standards and timely delivery of local content.
- Conduct detailed keyword research, mapping, and content planning to support organic growth initiatives.
- Optimize on-site SEO across product categories, landing pages, and blog content (Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- Collaborate with US/DE Market, E-Commerce, and Brand teams to maximize site traffic and visibility.
- Analyze SEO KPIs, monitor search rankings, and prepare performance reports using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Support off-page SEO initiatives, including backlink acquisition strategies and external content collaborations.
- Stay updated on AI developments and emerging trends in SEO, and integrate automation and AI solutions.
- Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and remain informed about industry trends and algorithm updates.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience within eCommerce, D2C brands, or a digital marketing agency.
- Proven track record in driving content-led organic growth across major search engines (Google, Bing).
- Strong expertise in keyword research, technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimization.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Sistrix, SEMRush, Screaming Frog) and analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
- Experience with AI-based tools and LLMs such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, international teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with a focus on actionable optimizations.
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus with experience in the US market.
- A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with a passion for digital marketing and cycling.
