Position Overview

The Logistics Associate - Supply Chain Management role at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL plays a vital role within the supply chain team. In this role, you will support the movement of materials and products throughout the organization while ensuring safety, security, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with multiple departments for accurate receiving, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, warehousing, and storage of products.
  • Manage daily material movement within Mayo Clinic, ensuring adherence to safety, security, and productivity standards.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding expediting, returns, and resolving invoice/receipt issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a high volume of inquiries from Mayo Clinic staff, collaborating with other Supply Chain Management personnel to resolve issues.
  • Research and resolve problem transactions related to invoicing discrepancies and specialty transactions.
  • Assist with the distribution of medical products, including controlled substances and hazardous materials.
  • Utilize various reports to maintain data integrity and address processing delays through collaborative problem solving.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned by Supply Chain Management leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED with two (2) years of supply chain or business related experience; an Associate’s Degree plus one (1) year of experience may be considered as equivalent.
  • Strong computer, communication, problem solving, continuous improvement, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required for positions that involve driving.
