Position Overview
Smoky Mountain Resorts is a family‐focused, third generation, family‐owned hospitality company committed to the “Spirit of Hospitality” in the Great Smoky Mountains. As a Family Entertainment Center Attendant, you will help create memorable guest experiences by managing activities, maintaining a safe and fun environment, and delivering legendary guest service. This full‐time role is offered at $16.00 per hour with a varied schedule: Sun. & Mon. 8:45AM–5PM, Tues. & Wed. 3–11:30PM, Sat. 12PM–8:30PM (Thursday & Friday off).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to bring energy and fun to themed activities including arcade games, bowling, VR arena, and more.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and properly operate all entertainment systems.
- Communicate professionally with guests while managing cashless payment and prize redemption processes.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and care throughout the entertainment center and surrounding areas.
- Support SMR’s commitment to exceptional guest service and work cooperatively during peak times, including holidays and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform indoor and outdoor duties including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license with eligibility for company insurance.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with arcade equipment or in a family entertainment environment.
- Experience working with children and families.
- Additional language skills, such as Spanish interpretation, are a plus.
