Bilingual Remote Immigration Paralegal

Position Overview

A successful candidate will assist during all phases of the immigration process and provide a high-quality level of client support by preparing and filing several forms with different immigration agencies, while working closely with supervising attorneys. Location: USA

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file applications with USCIS, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, provisional waivers, naturalization, and U Visas.
• Prepare and file applications with the Immigration Court, with high emphasis on asylum and cancellation of removal applications.
• Submit supplemental evidence filings with EOIR (Executive Office of Immigration Review) in advance of Individual/Merits Hearings.
• Complete affidavits with clients and draft motions and applications for filing with the Immigration Court.

Required Qualifications

• Immigration Paralegal with 2 years of experience (Required)
• Excel proficiency
• Spanish fluency
• Technology competency, including Office 365 and matter management tools
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak clearly and calmly to clients
• Ability to handle demanding situations and a commitment to going above and beyond to serve clients
