Position Overview
The Federal Savings Bank is expanding its Consumer Direct team in Chicago, IL. We are seeking experienced, high-energy, detail-oriented call center/consumer direct mortgage bankers to work bank‐provided leads within our 50-state platform. There is absolutely NO COLD CALLING required in this role. Our bankers receive a high volume of hot, in-bound leads that convert at a very high percentage and gain access to a wide scope of loan programs with competitive rates—serving veteran homeowners, those seeking government refinancing assistance, and first-time home buyers.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of bank‐provided inbound leads to originate mortgage loans.
- Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to current loan originating guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with in‐house processing, underwriting, closing, and operations teams.
- Build and maintain your own brand within The Federal Savings Bank platform.
- Ensure compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of mortgage lending experience in a call center/consumer direct environment.
- Active NMLS #.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively when handling a high volume of inbound leads.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a disciplined approach to lead management.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and thorough knowledge of current loan originating procedures.
- Favorable credit and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- VA and FHA lending experience strongly preferred.
