Position Overview

Salary: From $15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling mental health appointments.
- Transferring calls to appropriate departments.
- Answering calls from patients in crisis and transferring them to our clinical team.
- Responding to voice messages and cancellation messages.
- Entering patient messages into our electronic health record system.
- Verifying insurances.
- Verifying patient information (Insurance, Phone #, Address).
- Adding notes about pertinent information into patient accounts.
- Greeting patients with a warm smile and welcome.
- Collecting copay and deductible payments.
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned by Manager or Lead.
Required Qualifications
- At least 6 months Call Center experience
- Fluency in English
- Computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Typing)
- Customer Service experience
- Appointment scheduling experience
- Positive attitude
- Desire to make people feel welcome while they are seeking mental health services
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of phone etiquette
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Knowledge of Mental Health and Substance Abuse is a bonus
- Knowledge of Nevada Insurance is a bonus
- Minimum of a High School education, college degree preferred
- Experience working as part of a team
