Assistant Director, Finance

Position Overview

At Starwood Hotels, our Accounting Team is composed of experienced, insightful, and analytical professionals who make sense of our daily operations and financial performance. We are seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to oversee the overall financial health of our brand. In this pivotal role, you’ll conduct meticulous analysis, ensure ledger reconciliation, supervise account balancing and financial report execution, and resolve discrepancies with prompt, effective solutions. You will also collaborate with team members and advocate for our brand’s values in a mission-driven, diverse, and sustainable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall financial health of the brand.
• Conduct meticulous financial analysis and planning.
• Supervise account balancing, ledger reconciliation, and financial report execution.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with rapid, effective solutions.
• Collaborate with team members and advocate for the brand.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for numbers and math.
• Minimum of 2 years of similar work experience.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree (preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of payroll management.
• Proven track record in guest and team member engagement as well as financial performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.

Benefits & Perks

• Compensation: $95,000.00 to $105,000.00
