Job Description

Position Overview

Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RN’s) treat patients in emergency situations ranging from minor ailments to severe trauma. They quickly recognize life-threatening problems and provide immediate care, stabilizing patients and minimizing pain. ER RN’s work in diverse settings including hospital emergency rooms, ambulances, helicopters, urgent care centers, sports arenas, and more. They also contribute to trauma center evaluations where hospitals receive Trauma Ratings (Level I being the highest and Level III being the lowest) based on available resources and patient volume.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education
  • • Must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
  • • Must hold an active state license.
  • BSN Required with 2 years recent experience.
  • • Per Diem Shifts Available – Recent Experience Required.
