Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities

Working as part of a Software Engineering Scrum team that includes Scrum Master, Dev Lead, Software Development engineers.

Reviewing project documents such as Software Specification, Scope, Technical Design Documents, Product Release documents to be used as the basis to determine Testing objectives and develop test plans and test cases that meet established quality assurance standards.

Executing Functional, System/e2e Integration and release regression testing aligning with established Agile scrum methodologies and Timeline.

Maintaining Test environments including ownership of Executing Deployments, Master Data creation for system testing.

Documenting all issues found during testing in detail.

Communicate with appropriate members of Scrum team to track issues to resolution.

Assist the QA Manager in the creation of test project status reports and metrics.

Developing Interface testing plans to validate system interfaces meet Mapping specifications.

Maintaining automated regression suites and/or smoke test suites to be reused during phased go-live and for software change mods.

Qualification

Degree: Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 3+ years of a combination of experience in Quality Assurance verifying Systems Integration.
