Job Description

Position Overview

At Lobos Management, we manage residential rental units alongside several commercial and retail properties throughout Western Pennsylvania. We pride ourselves on strong relationships with local colleges, housing authorities, and non-profit organizations. We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team and take a leading role in payables, internal audits, financial reviews, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of payables and oversee expense accounts.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
  • Review financial statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
  • Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements to internal controls and processes.
  • Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Collaborate with management to develop strategies for expense and risk mitigation.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related financial services role.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and financial management concepts.
  • Proficient in financial analysis techniques and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • At least 7 years of financial analysis experience.
