As a Private Capital Analyst (PCA), you will support the largest practice at the firm by driving operations and strategic initiatives for our Private Capital Practice. This role offers broad exposure across multiple services – from executive search to advisory on talent solutions – and a robust two-year program designed to accelerate professional growth.
Based in New York with a vision to evolve into a global cohort, the PCA team is integral to client development, business intelligence, and team collaboration. You’ll work alongside Partners, Principals, and diverse teams to drive innovative solutions in private capital and alternative investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Track and report all business development activity, leverage multiple online resources to acquire business intelligence, support strategic client accounts, and assist with marketing/branding and competitive intelligence initiatives.
- Search Execution: Engage in discussions on research strategy and methodology, ensure that executive search teams are updated on practice-specific resources, and facilitate the capture of lessons learned.
- Partnership & Teamwork: Collaborate with Practice Management, Search teams, and cross-functional colleagues to prepare materials, manage client accounts, support talent management initiatives, and maintain the firm’s CRM data accuracy.
- Internal Communications: Curate and share relevant market trends and publications, participate in practice groups and firm initiatives, and support personalized auto-alert systems to keep the team informed.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required.
- Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Intellectual curiosity with critical thinking and project management abilities.
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to professional services or private capital environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in market trend analysis and effective research methodologies.
- Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems is highly preferred.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills, high ethical standards, and entrepreneurial drive.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, good conceptual thinking, and personal maturity.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: USD 65,000 to 90,000, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
