Laboratory Technician - HI

Position Overview

Twining, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company with over 125 years of history, is seeking a Laboratory Technician for our Honolulu HART Project working in our on-site lab.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various types of soil and concrete lab testing.
• Obtain in-house training on machine safety and test method proficiency.
• Enter samples into our software accurately.
• Create new work order numbers and enter testing data and billing items.
• Perform computer data entry.
• Assist in other laboratory departments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in concrete and soils is a must.
• Certifications: ACI Strength Testing Technician, ACI Aggregate Testing Technician, and ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician.
• 5+ years previous experience working with construction materials.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to work well as both a team player and an individual self-starter.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily.
• Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills.
• Solid communication skills.
• Clean DMV record.
• Must join Local 3 Operating Engineers.
