Job Description

Position Overview

Our team is the institutional healthcare team serving institutional firms involved in healthcare research and investments. You’ll join a dynamic team of 20 professionals including managers, project managers, research managers, and research associates. In this role as a Research Manager—positioned between a research associate and a project manager—you will gain hands‐on exposure to custom recruiting, outreach to advisors, full project facilitation from start to finish, and direct client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Getting exposure to custom recruiting and lead outreach.
  • Contacting Guidepoint advisors via phone and email to gauge project interest and gather availability for a call with the client.
  • Shadowing project managers to fully understand their day-to-day operations and project workflow.
  • Executing client requests from start to finish – from project initiation, advisor outreach, profile presentation, scheduling calls to collecting feedback.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with team members as well as business development and client growth teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with a preference for Health Policy or Life Sciences, as applicable.
  • 1+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with client services is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong focus on quality, attention to detail, and addressing client needs.
