Job Description

Position Overview

The Electrical Engineer III at Rosendin is a senior engineering role that offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects while mentoring and guiding teams. In this position you will ensure compliance with project requirements, engineering standards, codes, and specifications while collaborating across multiple disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of engineers, designers, and staff; serve as Engineer of Record on assigned projects.
  • Supervise and review equipment & system submittals and coordinate between various trades.
  • Oversee the preparation of designs including power, lighting, auxiliary systems and single-line diagrams.
  • Supervise or conduct engineering studies such as short circuit, over-current protection, Arc Flash, and distribution analysis.
  • Conduct value engineering exercises, resolve drawing interpretation conflicts, and generate project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, clients, and design teams to align design criteria with budget and schedules.
  • Visit job sites to assess existing conditions and prepare documentation for commissioning buildings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience with proven technical and leadership skills.
  • Licensure as a US-based Professional Engineer is required.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk, Microsoft Office, and other engineering productivity software.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under time pressure.
