Mainframe/ Apps Development Systems Analyst- VP-(Tampa, FL)

In this role, the Mainframe/Apps Development Systems professional is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team. The position primarily leads systems analysis and programming activities to support the evolving business needs of Citi.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with multiple management teams to integrate functions and define necessary system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
• Resolve high-impact problems and projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure that designs adhere to the overall architecture blueprint.
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow to develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how business areas, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish goals.
• Leverage various technology tools and problem-solving skills to meet business needs.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
• Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in Mainframe Apps Development or systems analysis.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
• Expertise in working with DB2 databases, including writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Knowledge of Asset Servicing business and Custody Securities Services technology.
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly in response to changing circumstances.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
• Experience in agile project execution methodology.
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
