Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join Property Matrix and help shape the future of property management software. In this role, you will design, develop, and troubleshoot new features while working collaboratively with a dynamic team. As part of our commitment to innovation, you will contribute to software enhancements that streamline property management for mid-range to enterprise clients. Compensation: $50,000 - $80,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement new features into existing software per specifications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and test newly added features.
• Suggest feasible solutions to resolve issues within current code.
• Detail implementation specifics for proposed new functionalities.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for newly written code and modifications.
• Fix and modify front-end code and support fellow developers with new functionalities.
• Write and update tests in the automated testing suite.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to research and implement solutions using online guides and tutorials.
• Strong technical aptitude with proven problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
