Job Description

Position Overview

Manage digital advertising operations, campaign reporting, and creative development while collaborating with both digital and custom teams. This role is critical to ensuring timely, accurate campaign delivery and producing comprehensive reports for clients. Hubbard DC – including WTOP, Federal News Network, and 2060 Digital – is committed to reporting relevant news and fostering an inclusive work environment that values equality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with digital teams and the digital strategy/development team to manage digital advertising operations, craft campaign performance reports, and coordinate the development of content and creative concepts that align with marketing and business objectives.
  • Oversee and execute the scheduling, production, and implementation of all digital/mobile campaigns in the ad server (DFP/GAM) to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Coordinate the development of online advertisements by managing creative design and content development to further clients' brand strategy and campaign success.
  • Manage client projects from implementation to completion.
  • Produce comprehensive reports and analyses of client campaigns, including detailed campaign recaps.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and Account Executives to understand client needs and generate innovative advertising solutions.
  • Partner with the Marketing department to develop internal creative assets that advance the company's brand strategy.
  • Fulfill sales objectives, including creating microsites, building programs, updating content, and managing online/mobile ad serving systems with proper tagging and targeting.
  • Provide frequent updates to Sales on inventory and campaign delivery statuses.
  • Maintain quality assurance processes by screening all incoming creative and ensuring booked advertisements adhere to content restrictions and quality standards.
  • Assist in developing operational best practices and capturing campaign insights for continuous improvement.
  • Explore emerging technologies and potential external partners to enhance online and mobile advertising capabilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to create internet-based and digital media marketing solutions.
  • Advanced PC skills with proven experience in DFP/GAM, AdX, AdSense, WordPress, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships while communicating effectively with diverse personalities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to work in compliance with company policies and effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of Google Analytics Certifications is a plus.
  • Experience with Google Ads Manager, Social Media Marketing (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), and SEO/PPC; completion of Google Ads Certifications is a plus.
  • Experience with internet page creation (HTML/JavaScript, Flash, and/or streaming media platforms) is a plus.
  • Experience with programmatic selling of remnant inventory is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to manipulate computer keys and general office equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to hear and speak clearly and follow both oral and written directions.
