Role Overview Own the product strategy and execution for HP Z Boost—HP’s remote, GPU-accelerated workstation experience that lets creators, engineers, and AI developers access Z performance from anywhere. You’ll define the roadmap, turn customer workflows into features, and scale a category that blends workstations, virtualization, networking, and AI workloads into a seamless experience. This position is located in Fort Collins, Colorado; or Houston, TX.
Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end outcomes by driving cross‑functional alignment across external partners, engineering, GTM, and operations teams to ensure coordinated delivery of the Z Boost solution
- Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and KPIs for Z Boost across releases
- Translate user workflows (CAD, DCC, simulation, AI dev, CV inferencing, VDI-replacement) into prioritized features
- Partner with engineering on performance, latency, image quality, and reliability targets
- Work closely with ISVs, customers, and partners to validate solution interfaces and operational workflows, improving time ‑ to ‑ value and adoption.
- Shape packaging, pricing, and positioning with Product Marketing for target verticals
- Align cross ‑ functional teams (hardware, software, security, sales, marketing) around shared platform priorities and delivery milestones.
- Define and track success metrics related to adoption, reliability, usability, and overall platform impact.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years in product management for workstations, VDI/DaaS, edge compute, or GPU platforms
- Strong grasp of remote graphics, virtualization, networking, and GPU scheduling
- Familiarity with cloud and hybrid environments as they relate to on-prem compute orchestration, resource pooling, and enterprise deployment models.
- Familiarity with AI/ML developer workflows and modern content creation stacks
- Experience taking 0→1 products to market and scaling with data
- Experience working with ISV ecosystems, including solution enablement, integration requirements, and Go -to- Market alignment
- Excellent written/oral communication; can align engineering depth with exec clarity
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management processes
- Comfortable running customer pilots and turning signals into roadmap decisions
- Bachelor's degree: computer science, Engineering, or related fields
