Your Responsibilities

Overall, as a Logistics Delivery Specialist, your main objective would be to ensure timely delivery of quality products with exceptional customer service, while maintaining accurate records of sales and inventory levels

The Route Sales Driver plays a crucial role in the Sales Team by distributing and selling products on assigned routes, creating and nurturing strong customer relations, and ensuring product availability at accounts. Accomplishing this is attained by correctly filling beverage sections, racks, displays, and vendors in line with Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country standards, all the while delivering exceptional customer service.

The fundamental obligations that employees must complete to ensure that their organization functions efficiently are essential duties and responsibilities

  • Boost sales revenue for assigned accounts by means of product encashment, distribution, exhibits, and implementing advertising endeavors.
  • The regular task involves the sale and transportation of items to predetermined clients every day.
  • All accounts must be merchandised and stocked according to the standards of CCBCHC.
  • Guarantee that all Point of Sale advertising is relocated, substituted, and sustained appropriately for the accounts.
  • Accurately record the accounting of products, cash, and assets on a daily basis to ensure proper financial management.
  • Ensuring prompt and accurate payment collection through streamlined invoicing methods.
  • Establish connections with account representatives and provide superior customer service to each account by maintaining routine communication, resolving any issues without delay, and ensuring proper follow-up.
  • Keep the appearance of CCBCHC equipment and products in assigned accounts looking sharp.
  • Keep the storage area tidy and properly managed while dealing with trade breakage for assigned customers.
  • Ensure that the vehicle and its contents are compliant with the CCBCHC regulations by conducting routine inspections.
  • Make certain that CCBCHC's quality assurance standards are upheld in each and every account.
  • Safe working conditions are imperative for protecting employees from harm.
  • Forge and uphold professional and team-oriented relationships with coworkers and customers.
  • Stay informed about your competitors' products, promotions, and performance in the market.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in steering a two or four-wheeled cart.
  • Capability in handling and driving all types of forklifts and other industrial power trucks with efficiency.
  • Within 90 days of beginning work, the candidate must have the ability to acquire a Class A CDL.
  • The primary prerequisite for this role entails an individual who can competently operate a tractor-trailer requiring a Class A CDL, while remaining compliant with all of the associated CDL requirements and meeting the CCBCHC driving record guidelines.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with a high school diploma or GED.
  • The ideal candidate is expected to have worked for a period of 1-3 years.
  • Preferably, candidates should have a background of one year or more in commercial driving.
  • Those with prior knowledge and experience in the grocery store or consumer products industry can apply for this position with confidence
  • We are seeking an individual with a background in customer care.

Training Requirements:

  • A demonstration of one's ability to drive a truck could be necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Being employed necessitates bodily movement, including ambulating, conversing, and auditory recognition, as well as handling and manipulating tangible objects through tactile means with the hands.
  • One of the essential requirements for this job is having a sharp near-vision and the capability to concentrate for extended periods while operating a computer terminal.
  • The job necessitates that you perform tasks involving lifting, pushing and pulling loads of 50 pounds, while also requiring you to stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach frequently.

Work Environment:

  • The work environment is expected to have a moderate amount of noise owing to the operation of manufacturing and/or warehousing equipment.
  • The job requires the applicant to have flexibility in their schedule to travel to other company offices as necessary, representing roughly 10% of their total work time. They will also be expected to attend educational seminars and training sessions, sometimes in other cities.
  • Some weekend and holiday availability is expected.
