AR Billing Specialist

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist to join our team at the Avante Group, Inc corporate office! At our company, YOU are our greatest asset. In this role, you will be responsible for managing assigned facilities, supporting the Accounts Receivable team, and contributing to team projects. Location: Avante Group, Inc corporate office.

Key Responsibilities

• Must have Skilled Nursing Facility Billing experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO Insurance, and Co-Insurance claims
• Posting cash receipts
• Daily follow up on HMO, Co-Insurance, and Medicaid claims for assigned facilities
• Daily follow up on Medicare claims with intermediary
• Prepare Medicaid reimbursable bad debt
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must possess great organizational skills
• Must be able to pay attention to detail
• Ability to problem solve
• Must have mathematical aptitude and be computer literate with Word, Outlook, Excel, and Internet applications
• Must be a team player
• Bookkeeping, Skilled Nursing Facility, or Medical Office background a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: AA degree preferred
