Position Overview

Oakmont of Camarillo is a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group that delivers exceptional quality, comfort, and care. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will support the Marketing Department by organizing events, handling telephone, walk-in, and mail inquiries, touring prospective residents, and assisting with resident move-ins. This role is scheduled from Sunday to Thursday and offers Compensation of $24.00 - $26.00 per hour. With communities across California, Hawaii, and Nevada, there are significant opportunities for career growth, relocation, and travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the property’s products and services to effectively represent the community to referral sources and prospects.
  • Walk the community tour route at the start of each day to ensure the community is ready for tours.
  • Provide community tours as a backup to the Marketing Department.
  • Handle all inbound telephone, walk-in, and mail inquiries including completing inquiry cards, updating the marketing database, and following up as directed.
  • Qualify prospects, convert qualified prospects to tours, and convert tours to deposits using the sales process as needed.
  • Organize, plan, and manage all marketing events while staying within the approved budget.
  • Attend and actively participate in resident, family inquiry, and referral source events both on-site and off-site.
  • Serve as a liaison for new residents and family members to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Completely and accurately follow the new move-in checklist.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to be flexible, adapt, and respond effectively to change; make decisions in stressful situations; and prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Capable of processing information and applying common sense to follow written or oral instructions.
  • Strong analytical skills to solve problems and respond to concerns.
  • Competency in counting and handling moderately complex math problems.
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently, and capable of obtaining and maintaining valid first aid certification.
  • Requirement to pass a Criminal Background Check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols such as vaccinations, daily screenings, surveillance testing, and wearing face coverings or PPE as per regulatory guidelines.
