Position Overview

As a Sr. IT Helpdesk Technician & Facilities, you will serve as the primary onsite IT support resource while overseeing daily office facilities. This hybrid role—located in San Diego, CA or Westlake, CA—demands a user-centric mindset, technical expertise with tools like Microsoft 365 and Intune, and a proactive approach to facility operations. Key Responsibilities
- IT Management & Support: Provide onsite helpdesk support, troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and endpoint issues, administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra, and Intune, and ensure IT asset tracking and licensing compliance.
- Facilities Oversight: Manage day-to-day office operations including HVAC, electrical, security systems, coordinate office moves and workstation setups, and maintain vendor relationships while upholding safety and compliance standards.
- Mentoring & Documentation: Mentor junior IT staff, document IT processes and facility protocols, and participate in on-call support for escalations and incidents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field (preferred) with relevant work experience.
- A+ or Microsoft certification is required; additional certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years in IT support with at least 2 years handling facilities coordination/management.
- Proven expertise with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, strong technical troubleshooting, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Facilities Management experience and a Facilities Management Professional (FMP) certification.
- Additional industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or ITIL.
- Project management experience with office buildouts, relocations, and infrastructure upgrades.
