Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting, and adaptable Water Treatment, Process or Operations Engineer to join our team. The selected candidate will provide onsite technical support for a key customer. Location: Lakeland area. Schedule: Full time onsite with occasional remote office days. A personally assigned vehicle will be provided for local travel between assigned sites. Key Responsibilities
- Innovate process treatment to improve site production
- Provide support in design, development, testing and modifications of systems
- Implement process changes to improve safety, cost, production, and reliability
- Participate in material specification, schematic preparation and appropriate follow-up
- Prepare explanations and clarify information to enable proper interpretation and evaluation of specifications and technical data
- Communicate technical and commercial issues
Required Qualifications
- Education: BS/BA degree in Engineering
- Experience Required: 5+ minimum years of experience
- Hands-on experience within a plant is required
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizing, and planning skills
- Able to mentor, teach and train others on proper operation of water treatment processes
- A self-starter, capable of working independently
- Must be a good communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong customer focus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in design, installation, start up, operation and maintenance of industrial sized Reverse Osmosis systems is preferred
