Position Overview
The Department of Safety HR Talent Acquisition team is excited to expand our team and enhance the candidate experience. We are seeking a service-minded HR Technician II to join our Onboarding team. In this role, you will serve as a liaison and provide support to candidates transitioning into employment with one of our Safety Agencies. Key Responsibilities
- Access information to resolve problems and provide guidance to those requesting information.
- Maintain confidentiality, be respectful, and exercise discretion at all times.
- Present information in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
- Draft documents from templates accurately.
- Support our client agencies, candidates, and stakeholders with a customer service focus.
- Utilize strong organizational skills and innovative approaches to solve problems.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to self-direct and work independently.
- Detail oriented with exemplary accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent computer skills with Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative role.
- High school graduation or GED/HiSET/TASC Certificate.
- Knowledge of Workday is preferred.
- Previous experience with new employee onboarding is an advantage.

- Compensation: $24.71 - $37.07 per hour, based on experience and education.
