HR Technician II - Onboarding - Department of Safety

Position Overview

The Department of Safety HR Talent Acquisition team is excited to expand our team and enhance the candidate experience. We are seeking a service-minded HR Technician II to join our Onboarding team. In this role, you will serve as a liaison and provide support to candidates transitioning into employment with one of our Safety Agencies. Key Responsibilities

• Access information to resolve problems and provide guidance to those requesting information.
• Maintain confidentiality, be respectful, and exercise discretion at all times.
• Present information in a clear, concise, and effective manner.
• Draft documents from templates accurately.
• Support our client agencies, candidates, and stakeholders with a customer service focus.
• Utilize strong organizational skills and innovative approaches to solve problems.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to self-direct and work independently.
• Detail oriented with exemplary accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent computer skills with Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative role.
• High school graduation or GED/HiSET/TASC Certificate.
• Knowledge of Workday is preferred.
• Previous experience with new employee onboarding is an advantage.
