Workday Financial Consultant

Position Overview

As a Workday Financial Consultant you will play a key role in guiding the Workday Financials implementation, ensuring that the system design aligns with Finance and Accounting best practices. This position is remote (New York) or on-site at 685 Third Avenue, New York, NY 10017, and offers Compensation: $80 - $110 per hour on a temporary, part-time basis with the potential for a temp-to-perm transition. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead Workday Finance consultant and administrator, maintaining system configuration, user access, monthly ledger open/close, and integrations with related financial applications.
• Complete required Workday configuration workbooks and support tenant build activities.
• Advise DocGo on key Finance and Accounting decisions using Workday best practices and prior client experience.
• Develop detailed test scripts for all phases of testing (unit, system, and UAT).
• Perform hands-on testing and validation of Workday Financials and Accounting functionality.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to DocGo and Ambulnz resources.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Workday Financials, including configuration and testing.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes and their translation into Workday.
• Prior experience supporting Workday Financials implementations or tenant build activities.
• Ability to create configuration workbooks, test scripts, and system documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to guide key decisions and translate technical concepts for business partners.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
